Online Certification Training

OSHA 1910.178 guidelines require that ALL operators of Powered Industrial Trucks, also known as forklifts, be trained, evaluated, and authorized by their employer. This training should cover the type of truck they will operate at the facility. Training should consist of a formal training class, either with an in-person instructor or a computer-based training system (online).

This online training class for the HUBTEX MAXX forklift will cover general OSHA topics and specific training information for the MAXX lift. This class is NOT a general forklift training class; it is only for the HUBTEX MAXX.

Upon completion of classroom training, a hands-on site skills assessment is required, during which the employer confirms that the operator can safely operate the lift they will use. The evaluations must be performed by someone with the experience and knowledge to recognize hazards and verify the operator's practical skills on the lift being operated.

If the operator moves facilities, changes the lift type they operate, or has an incident, they must undergo retraining. Moving to a different lift type requires updating classroom training and conducting a new evaluation.
